The flag of the city of Asheville, North Carolina, has a white background, two violet vertical stripes, each one-fourth the length of the flag, and a violet emblem in the center of the flag with the word "ASHEVILLE" underneath it, also in violet.[1]


The flag is used as the battle flag of the USS Asheville. The word ASHEVILLE represents Asheville, or the word Asheville.
