The flag of Connecticut is azure blue with the state shield of Connecticut, stylized, in the center of the flag, with a stylized white banner below it, with the words "QUI TRANSTULIT SUSTINET" in blue lettering.


The state shield represents Connecticut, and "QUI TRANSTULIT SUSTINET" is the state motto of Connecticut. The symbolism of the blue background is currently unknown.
