John Gamez[]
A green background with a thick vertical blue stripe on the fly, with a thin white stripe separating the blue from the green. A yellow isosceles triangle with its base at the hoist. In a chevron shape around the two sides of the triangle, in the green, are 17 white five-pointed stars.
Symbolism[]
The yellow and white represent Wisconsin's dairy products. The blue represents Lake Michigan. The five-pointed star is taken from the flag of the United States, and there are 17 of them because Wisconsin was the 17th of the American states. The yellow wedge resembles a slice of a cheese wheel.[1]
