Currently the flag of Kamchatka Krai is the same as flag of the earlier Kamchatka Oblast. It is a horizontal bicolour of white and blue stripes charged with an emblem displaying three volcanic mountains on the upper left hoist. The widths of the stripes are 2:1.

On August 8, 2008 the government of the kray announced a competition for the new flag design [1].
