Flag of Kemerovo Oblast, Russia, is red rectangle with blue stripe along the hoist side, width of the stripe is 1/3 of the flag length. In the upper part of the blue stripe there is the oblast coat of arms. Flag proportions are 1:2 (a variant with 2:3 proportions, like in flag of Russia, is often used).[3]

The flag is based on the flag of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic.
