The flag of the United States state of Mississippi consists of three equal horizontal stripes (blue, white, and red, from top to bottom), with the Confederate battle flag in the canton area of the flag, two stripes wide and two stripes long.

SymbolismEdit

Red, white, and blue represent the United States. The Confederate design in the canton represents that Mississippi was once a Confederate state.
