Flag of Toronto
Adopted October 1999
Designed by Renato De Santis
Proportions 1:2

The flag of Toronto, Ontario, consists of a blue background with two very thick white lines forming the outline of the twin towers of Toronto City Hall.[1] These white lines also form a stylized letter T, and at the bottom of the "T" is the Canadian red maple leaf from the flag of Canada.

The Toronto City Hall represents Toronto City Hall, located in the city of Toronto. Red and white are the colours on the Canadian flag; however, the symbolism of the colour blue is unknown. The maple leaf also represents Canada, and the letter T represents Toronto.
