|Flag of Turkey|
|Adopted||June 1973 |
The flag of Turkey is red with a white star-and-crescent facing towards the fly.
The red represents the blood of Turkish martyrs, and the star and crescent represents a bloody war when the Ottoman Empire founded (The blood bleed at that war was plethoric) and when the moon and a star reflected over the blood that night Turks used that symbol as their flag. Also the crescent is related to Islam as well as each points of the star.
