The flag of Haiti consist of two equal horizontal bands of blue (top) and red with a centred white rectangle bearing the coat of arms, which contains a palm tree flanked by flags and two cannons above a scroll bearing the motto L'UNION FAIT LA FORCE ("Union Makes Strength"). (more...)

This flag was used to represent the Northern Irish parliament between 1953 and 1972, when the parliament was abolished. It's still often used as an "unofficial" flag, and is used by Irish unionists and various sport organizations. (not much more...)
