The flag of Wyoming is a blue flag with a thick white border with a thick red border. A white buffalo shape facing the hoist of the flag is in the center of the blue field, with a stylized version of the Wyoming state seal.

Red, white, and blue are the colours of the United States. Red also represents the blood of the Indians; white, purity; and blue; the Wyoming sky. [3] The Wyoming State Seal represents Wyoming. The buffalo represents the many buffalo (American bison) which can be found all over the state of Wyoming, especially in and near Yellowstone National Park, in the northwest corner of the state.
